I am in heaven! Well, fabric heaven anyway. :-) Spotlight had a sale the other day, so of course I had to take a peek!
And guess what I found? Seersucker! Well that was the name in the old days... now I think it is called Plisse. Same stuff though, light bubbly texture and fantastic for summer. And the colours!
Plus Textile Traders is just next door and they were having a buy 2 get 1 free sale. How could I resist! So now my bench is piled high with bright colours and I need to think about how to organise my fabrics in a rental home that doesn't take up too much space.
I couldn't wait to play with the seersucker, so here is my first little retro apron using some pinks and greens.
